The number of Corona victims exceeded one crore

Coronavirus is still prevalent. Nothing is going to suppress this deadly virus. The number of corona cases in 213 countries and regions of the world has exceeded one crore.

 As of Sunday morning, the total number of victims has crossed 1 crore 81 thousand. The death toll is more than 5 lakh 1 thousand.

According to the World Meter list, the United States is at the top. 25 lakh 96 thousand 538 people have been infected in the country. 1 lakh 26 thousand 152 people have died.

In Brazil, which is in the second place, the number of victims is 13 lakh 15 thousand 941 people. 57,103 people have died.

Russia, which is in the third place in the list, has been affected by 6 lakh 26 thousand 746 people. The death toll in Vladimir Putin's country is 6,989.

India is in the fourth place in the list. 5 lakh 29 thousand 57 people have been infected in the country. 18 thousand 103 people have died.

A total of 3 lakh 10 thousand 250 people were affected in the UK. They are in the fifth place in the list. The death toll is 43 lakh 514.

Bangladesh is in the 16th place in the list with 1 lakh 33 thousand 97 infected people. So far 1,795 bodies have been added to the procession.

Trump sought the help of the Chinese president to be re-elected

Former United States National Security Adviser John Bolton has claimed in his new book that Donald Trump sought the help of Chinese President Xi Jinping to run for president in the second round. লাদাখে সংঘর্ষে ভারতের ২০ সৈন্য নিহত

ভারত-চীন সীমান্তের লাদাখের গালওয়ান উপত্যকায় দুই দেশের সেনাবাহিনীর সংঘর্ষে ভারতের অন্তত ২০ সেনা নিহত হয়েছে। 

মঙ্গলবার ভারতের সরকারি সরকারি একটি সূতের বরাত দিয়ে এ তথ্য নিশ্চিত করেছে দেশটির সংবাদসংস্থা এএনআই। 

ভারতীয় সেনাকে উদ্ধৃত করে এএনআই জানিয়েছে, সোমবার রাতের সংঘর্ষে তিন জন ভারতীয় সেনা নয়, কমপক্ষে ২০ জন নিহত হয়েছেন। অন্যদিকে, সরকারি সূত্রকে উদ্ধৃত করে সংবাদ সংস্থা এএনআই জানিয়েছে, চিনা বাহিনীরও ব্যাপক ক্ষয়ক্ষতি হয়েছে। এএনআই-এর দাবি, চিনা বাহিনীর অন্তত ৪৩ জন নিহত নয়তো গুরুতর আহত হয়েছে।

এর আগে মঙ্গলবার সকালে পূর্ব লাদাখের গালওয়ান উপত্যকায় পয়েন্ট ১৪ ভারত-চিন সেনার সংঘর্ষের খবর প্রকাশ্যে আসে। প্রাথমিক ভাবে সেনা সূত্রে জানা গিয়েছিল, সোমবার রাতের সংঘর্ষে, ভারতীয় সেনার ১ কর্নেলসহ তিন জন নিহত হয়েছেন। সেনা এবং সরকারি সূত্রকে উদ্ধৃত করে, একাধিক সর্বভারতীয় সংবাদমাধ্যম দাবি করে, চিনের অন্তত পাঁচ জন সেনা নিহত হয়েছেন সোমবার রাতের সংঘর্ষে। কিন্তু সন্ধ্যার পর থেকেই পরিস্থিতি বদলাতে থাকে।

ভারতীয় সেনা সূত্রকে উদ্ধৃত করে সংবাদ সংস্থা এএনআই আরও জানিয়েছে, সোমবার রাতে সংঘর্ষে আরও ১৭ জন গুরুতরভাবে জখম হয়েছিলেন। হিমাঙ্কের নিচে তাপমাত্রায়, সমুদ্রপৃষ্ঠ থেকে অত উঁচুতে, খোলা আকাশের নীচে আহত অবস্থায় দীর্ঘ ক্ষণ থাকার ফলে তাঁদের মৃত্যু হয়। ওই সেনা সূত্রকে অভিহিত করে সংবাদ সংস্থা এএনআই দাবি করেছে, ওই সংঘর্ষস্থল থেকে মঙ্গলবার সন্ধ্যার পর পিছু হটেছে দু’পক্ষই। সেনা জানিয়েছে, ভারতীয় ভূখণ্ডের সার্বভৌমত্ব এবং অখণ্ডতা রক্ষা করতে তারা বদ্ধপরিকর।

৮ পণ্যের লাইসেন্স বাতিল করলো বিএসটিআই

লাইসেন্সের মেয়াদ উত্তীর্ণ হওয়ায় ৬টি প্রতিষ্ঠানের ৮টি পণ্যের অনুকূলে প্রদত্ত লাইসেন্স বাতিল করেছে পণ্যের মান প্রণয়ন ও নিয়ন্ত্রণকারী সংস্থা বাংলাদেশ স্ট্যান্ডার্ডস এন্ড টেস্টিং ইন্সটিটিউশন (বিএসটিআই)। 

সোমবার বিএসটিআইয়ের সার্টিফিকেশন কমিটির সভায় বাংলাদেশ স্ট্যান্ডার্ডস এন্ড টেস্টিং ইন্সটিটিউশন আইন ২০১৮ এর ১৬(৫) ধারা এবং চুক্তি মোতাবেক লাইসেন্সগুলো বাতিল করা হয়। বিএসটিআই সূত্র মঙ্গলবার আরটিভি অনলাইনকে এ তথ্য নিশ্চিত করেছে।

বৈধ লাইসেন্স গ্রহণ ছাড়া এসব পণ্য বিক্রি-বিতরণ ও বাণিজ্যিক বিজ্ঞাপন প্রচার হতে বিরত থাকার জন্য সংশ্লিষ্ট প্রতিষ্ঠানকে নির্দেশ দিয়েছে বিএসটিআই। একইসাথে ক্রেতাদের এসব ব্র্যান্ডের পণ্য না কেনার জন্য অনুরোধ করেছে।

পণ্যগুলো হলো: রংপুরের কোতোয়ালির গ্রীণ অয়েল এন্ড পোল্ট্রি ফিড ইন্ডাস্ট্রিজের ‘বাসমতি’ব্র্যান্ডের ফর্টিফাইড এডিবল রাইস ব্রান অয়েল, সাভারের আশুলিয়ার ইফাদ মাল্টি প্রোডাক্টস লিমিটেডের ‘ইফাদ সলিড গোল্ড’ব্র্যান্ডের ফর্টিফাইড এডিবল রাইস ব্রান অয়েল, ময়মনসিংহের শম্ভুগঞ্জের এগ্রোটেক ইন্টারন্যাশনাল লিমিটেডের ‘পিউরিভা’ ও ‘রাইপ’ব্র্যান্ডের ফর্টিফাইড এডিবল রাইস ব্রান অয়েল, নরসিংদীর শিবপুরের গ্রিন ট্রেড হাউজের ‘টেস্টি’ব্র্যান্ডের ফর্টিফাইড পাম অলিন, চট্টগ্রামের চান্দগাঁওয়ের ‘ওকে’ ব্র্যান্ডের ফর্টিফাইড সয়াবিন তেল ও ফর্টিফাইড পাম অলিন এবং রংপুরের মিঠাপুকুরের ‘আরডি জুসিলা’ও ‘আর ডি ফজলী’ব্র্যান্ডের ম্যাংগো ফ্রুট ড্রিংকস।

Changes again in the schedule of bank transactions

Banks in Bangladesh have once again changed the schedule of bank transactions. To prevent coronavirus infection, the government has divided different areas into red (red), yellow (yellow) and green (green) zones. There will be a general holiday in the red zone. That is why the central bank has announced to close its branches in that zone.

 On Monday (June 15), Bangladesh Bank's Department of Off-site Supervision issued a circular with instructions in this regard.
Besides, Bangladesh Bank has decided to change the transaction time of the bank from 10 am to 2 am. The bank branch can be kept open till 4 pm for performing ancillary activities of the bank after the transaction.

However, Motijheel, Dilkusha, Agrabad and Khatunganj are included in the red zone, but all the branches of the bank will be closed except these.

The directive further said that the branches of Scheduled Caste Bank located in the red zone will remain closed normally. However, if the concerned administration has any different instructions regarding keeping the branch open, it will be possible to make limited transactions from 10 am to 12 noon with limited manpower. And the bank branch can be kept open till half past one to perform ancillary activities of the bank after the transaction.

The branch of Scheduled Bank located in Yellow and Green Zone declared by the Department of Health, City Corporation, Deputy Commissioner should be kept open for all types of transactions from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and the branch can be kept open till 4:00 pm for further ancillary activities. .
